We are excited to partner up with Bio Alchemy Olfactive’s and bring you their white sage leaves. 

Bio Alchemy Olfactive’s loose white sage leaves are consciously cultivated in Southern California using organic practices aimed at conserving wild sage populations. Planted from local wild seeds that bear the innate properties of the unmodified plant and are harvested at the mature age of three, each leaf is carefully removed by hand in our lab from dried bouquets of hand-harvested stalks. We are proud to provide a sustainable means to burn and enjoy the treasures of white sage.

Salvia, derived from the latin word meaning “to heal,” possesses effects that are as powerful as they are purifying. Knowledge of white sage’s healing powers can be traced throughout time, permeating the cultures of the Babylonians, Greeks, Chinese and a variety of Native North and South American tribes, who continue to use it in rituals today.

Bio Alchemy Olfactive’s high quality, organically cultivated white sage has a warm, balsamic-herbaceous aroma that is soft, smooth, and clean. Its white-gray leaves are covered in hairs that trigger oil glands when rubbed or warmed, releasing volatile aromatic compounds into the air. Smudging sage is a common practice for cleansing the energy of spaces and even people. Renowned for its powers of purification, the smoke of burning sage has been revealed in recent studies to reduce bacteria levels and release negative ions in a space.
